E-wallets and foreign exchange for international clients and growing businesses.
Shilling is developing a multi-currency e-wallet and foreign exchange service for international clients and SMEs whose needs are often under-served by high street banks.
Register your interestCross-border money shouldn’t be this hard.
International clients and SMEs move money across currencies and borders every day. High street banks are built around domestic customers, which can mean slow transfers, unclear exchange rates and limited multi-currency support.
Multi-currency e-wallet
Hold and manage several currencies in one place.
Transparent FX
Competitive rates and clear pricing when you exchange currency.
International payments
Send and receive money across borders with fewer steps.
Built around you
Personal support from people who understand international finance.
Created by specialists in international finance.
Shilling was founded by Henry Taylor and John Campbell, who each bring more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial services.

Our principles
Specialist by design
A clear focus on international clients and SMEs.
Clear and fair
Straightforward pricing and plain language.
Responsibility at our core
Security, good governance and regulatory compliance are fundamental to how Shilling is being developed.
Personal service
Relationship-led support, not a call centre queue.
Developing financial services responsibly.
Protecting client funds and maintaining high standards of regulation are central to Shilling’s development.
How safeguarding works
Client funds are safeguarded by our FCA-regulated e-money and payment partners at a credit institution, in line with regulatory requirements. [Confirm: no client funds are paid into Shilling’s own bank accounts.]
Funds shown in a client’s account are held at reputable banks or covered by an insurance policy, and are protected if a partner or Shilling becomes insolvent. Safeguarding ends when money is paid out to the beneficiary’s account.
Is my money covered by the FSCS?
Money held as electronic money is not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in the same way as eligible deposits held with a UK-authorised bank. Safeguarding is a different form of protection and does not provide an equivalent guarantee of repayment.
Be part of what comes next.
We are developing Shilling in consultation with international clients and SMEs. Whether you are interested in becoming a client, exploring a partnership or simply learning more, please get in touch.
